Our history

In 1988, Claus and Carla opened their first hair salon in Basel. Their first names were chosen as the brand name in honor of the owners. Over time, that single salon grew into a thriving network of 12 locations across the regions of Basel, Aargau, Bern, and Zug. Since the couple had no children to succeed them, they placed the company in new, experienced hands in 2000. Since 2000, Coiffure Claus & Carla has been part of Mohn’s Haarpflege AG and is headquartered in the canton of Zug.
